Maqui berry (Aristotelia chilensis) is an intense purple berry that grows wild throughout the pristine southern regions of southern Chile. Coined ‘The Ultimate Super Fruit’, maqui has one of the highest antioxidant scores of any fruit known - even more than acai berries!
Traditionally maqui berries have been used by the indigenous Chilean Mapuche Indians to promote strength, endurance and overall health. The Mapuche Indian tribe was the only tribe in the Americas who were not conquered by invading colonists. Legend has it that Mapuche warriors consumed a fermented beverage made from maqui berries three times a day, which may have contributed to their amazing strength and endurance qualities. Every part of the incredible Patagonian maqui tree has medicinal properties – including the leaf and bark.
Our Organic Maqui Berry Powder has a delightful, slightly tart berry flavour, similar to blueberry, blackberry and acai. It is also freeze-dried to ensure the flavour and vital nutrients contained within the fresh fruit are retained.

DIRECTIONS:
Adults: 1-2 teaspoons daily.
Children (12 and under): 1/4-1/2 teaspoon daily.
